A striking new look for the UK’s #1 recruitment video platform

Odro is one of the world’s only video platforms dedicated exclusively to the recruitment industry. As the UK’s leading supplier, they are proud to count many of the industry’s top agencies amongst their growing client base.

Since starting out in 2015, Odro had outgrown its brand and website, which no longer did justice to the size and prominent market position of the company.

The brief

The Scottish based business approached Grey Matter to see how we could help them to create a more ‘established looking’ brand identity that retained their individuality and personality. As well as a brand transformation, Odro wanted a new corporate website that clearly and powerfully communicated their unique expertise in the recruitment sector, and the video solutions they offer.

The solution

We started by exploring how Odro wanted to be perceived. It became clear that although the company has grown from a 2-man band to a team of over 40, the values at the heart of the company remain the same, and Odro didn’t want to lose the individuality that had helped them achieve their success.

We worked with the existing brand, extending the colour palette and elevating the logo, introducing a gradient and new font. We developed a ‘brand identifier’; a graphic device that can be incorporated into different design aspects across multiple platforms, including web, video and print, but is recognisably ‘Odro’. We also used this as the starting point for a series of product logos, which differentiate the individual solutions on offer under the Odro banner.

We developed a website, offering a sophisticated level of functionality combined with a simple and intuitive CMS. The website hosts a number of videos and on page animations, utilising new and innovative technologies and is optimised for desktop and mobile.

The result

Odro’s new identity is fun and engaging, powerful and professional. With the new brand designed and approved, we supported Odro in rolling it out to all customer touchpoints, including a new company brochure, letterheads, email signatures, business cards, a presentation deck, and literature templates.

The new website ticked all the boxes for Odro’s busy marketing team, who can now upload new content and update the site with ease.
