Doorpac is a leading supplier of doorsets to the construction industry. The company, based in Sheffield, serves projects of all sizes throughout the UK, ranging from a single doorset, to phased deliveries of more than a thousand units.
The company and its product range has grown extensively since it launched in 2007, and in 2019, Doorpac was producing over 900 doorsets every week. At the start of 2020, the company decided it needed to upgrade its sales catalogue which had begun to look outdated and was not aligned with their online appearance.
Grey Matter is a leading design agency with particular expertise in catalogue design, which Doorpac recognised, and therefore approached us with this project. Their new catalogue was to be larger than previous versions, increasing from 12 pages to 80. Doorpac wanted the new catalogue to promote the company’s brand, including its vision and values, and to create a better and bolder impression of the business.
It had to showcase their considerable expertise and accreditations, as well as promoting the full range of products. Most importantly, they wanted the catalogue to attract new customers, and to assist new and existing customers in their buying decisions.
Armed with this information, we designed a professional catalogue in the natural contemporary style that underpins Doorpac’s visual brand. Our page layouts presented information – including technical details – in a clear way, to meet the needs of industry specialists as well as non-industry clients.
The attention to detail that Grey Matter is renowned for was applied to every inch of every page of the new catalogue, ensuring that each image, word and full stop was in precisely the right place.
