Full-service marketing agency, Grey Matter has this month opened a new hub for its expanding digital services division and growing team of designers, developers and SEO experts.
The new premises are on Europa Link, part of the Sheffield Business Park – a location chosen by the agency for its close proximity to the M1 and Sheffield Parkway, making them easily accessible to clients in and outside of South Yorkshire.
Now in its 30th year, Grey Matter has built an impressive portfolio of more than 2000 websites, since creating Sheffield’s very first commercial site in 1993. The agency currently hosts over 500 websites on its servers and has supported more than 1000 businesses to establish a presence online.
As more organisations – often in traditional industries such as manufacturing, legal and hospitality – turn to digital technology, Grey Matter is leading the way in offering the creative, strategic, and technical services needed to make an impact online.
From its new hub, the agency offers a full suite of digital services including website design and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), paid and organic social media, and email marketing – all elevated by exceptional levels of creative design and strategic planning.
Head of Creative at Grey Matter, Andrew Marsden, says,
“The power of a good website cannot be underestimated – it’s the shop window to your business, a means of buying and booking online and, now more than ever, it could be the main link between you and your customer. Our team’s ability to build robust and intuitive websites, supported by cohesive digital marketing techniques, is second to none, but the creative design expertise we add is what makes Grey Matter different.”
At the start of 2020, Grey Matter completed a £100,000 rebrand and digital development project for the Forged Solutions Group, formally known as Firth Rixon. This included a new name, visual identity and photography, culminating in a new website, SEO strategy and PPC campaign, designed to showcase the company to international manufacturers in the aerospace industries.
Andrew adds,
“Our work with Forged Solutions Group is just one example of how we can bring all the different parts of a brand and a marketing strategy together to deliver a full package to our clients, with digital at the forefront.”
The company had planned the expansion before the COVID-19 outbreak and the increased demand for digital solutions caused by the enforced lockdown has reaffirmed their decision to invest and grow in this area.
Client Services Director, Brendan Hampsey explains,
“We have helped many clients to take their business online so now, when many organisations cannot operate on a face-to-face business, we are perfectly placed to help you get online – promoting, selling, and growing!
“Opening our digital hub marks an exciting and significant time for us – we are celebrating our 30th anniversary and we are confidently expanding our capabilities based on the knowledge and experience built up over this time. Our new digital hub is at the heart of a thriving business environment, surrounded by new and traditional industries and innovation. It’s exactly where we want to be.”
